Hand Crafted Wines Made the Old Fashioned Way! Eric Hice winemaker for Hice Cellars is a third generation winemaker. His style is a careful blend of old fashioned hand crafted artistry along with modern wine chemistry combined and balanced to produce some incredible wines.

Eric learned his technique from his Grandfather and Father who were both exceptional winemakers. Aside from learning key elements and his family's tradition in wine, he credits his many success to working under and learning from world class winemakers Jac Jacobs, Tom Meyers, Mikel Olsten, and especially Rich Tanguay. They each helped him in so many ways to refine his skills and to strive for perfection. Eric studied fermentation science at U.C. Davis and holds his Masters Degree in food science from Alameda University. He believes by combining the practical knowledge along with hands on experience, creates the building blocks for success.

Titan's roots run deep, indeed — all the way back to the late Sixties, when company cofounders Bob and Heather Sanders began racing a series of FoMoCo-motivated machines on California drag strips. The husband-and-wife team ultimately advanced to a Fontana-powered Top Alcohol Dragster that regularly qualified in tough West Coast NHRA competition (and established Heather as one of the fastest females in drag racing).
